Fox Print Adds Lamination With TCS-Supplied Minilam B3

Fox Print has added lamination to its portfolio of print production services following investment in a Bagel Minilam B3 Auto from Terry Cooper Services. The 25-year old Shepshed, Leicestershire, commercial printer handles local and national clients across a broad range of sectors.

“We didn’t have a laminator and we were spending a lot of time and money sending the work out,” Explains Fox Print’s Production Supervisor Mark Guglielmucci: “It wasn’t cost effective.

“We chose the Bagel because it was simple and easy to use. It handles all our lamination requirements whether it is five to ten sheets or two to three thousand sheets. It saves us a lot of time and money as there is no need to outsource any more.

“It is so quick to set up that we are happy to do the smallest of runs. For example someone from next door popped in to get his son’s picture laminated and we did that straight away. Jobs can now be completed and sent out on the same day, there is not waiting or hanging around.

The ultra-compact 1,200sph fully automatic Bagel Minilam B3 Auto can change formats up to three time in less than 10 minutes. Featuring a colour touch screen and user-friendly operation, it also has an oil heated calander roller and intelligent temperature programming.

He concludes: “It does what we need it to do. I am very happy with it. It is a good quality machine.”
