TCS adds the Mamo products to its finishing range with the LEGA 420

A new hot-melt perfect binder for high-productivity book-binding up to 420mm spine length and 50mm thickness.

It produces both soft cover and hard cover books, with quick and easy changeover thanks to the reversible cover clamp tool. Soft covers from 70 to 400 gsm and hard covers to 2mm thickness.

Powerful spine and side clamps give perfect results on uncreased covers making the workflow faster and cheaper.

The whole working process is customizable through the user-friendly software. Easily choose and set the notching and milling depth, cover and side clamp pressure on the touch screen thanks to a precise micro adjustment encoder system.

The machine can be operated both in ‘manual’ or ‘automatic’ mode. Manual mode can be used for setting the job while in automatic mode each step of the process starts automatically to ensure maximum productivity.
